Former MARDUK Bassist Performs With DIABOLOS In California: Photos Available
November 13, 2006B.War (ALLEGIANCE, ex-MARDUK) played a couple of songs live on Thursday, Nov. 9 with the Los Angeles-based black metal-horror-punk band DIABOLOS. This was B.War's first live appearance since he quit MARDUK back in 2004.
DIABOLOS was formed by several Los Angeles musicians, including Undead Torment (NECROPHAGIA, ex-NOKTURNE),N. Eibon Fiend (DEMONIA),and Murder Machine. DIABOLOS plays a unique blend of black metal and punk, and pays tribute to horror and gore. "This is one of the reasons I became interested in DIABOLOS — they are not your typical black metal band," stated B.War. "Black metal is overrated these days; come on, there are even black metal cartoons! DIABOLOS took black metal and incorporated punk; they also [added] one of my favorite hobbies, horror movies, making this band very appealing to me."
